So, four days later I finally did my first workout of my workout plan. It was not so very smooth as I was hoping. Aerobically I felt fine. My body felt great too, actually, except a very worrisome pain in my knee, which I suspect is an IT band issue. I think my IT is just way way, way too tight and it's leading to acute pain. Which sucks because, aren't I supposed to be some sort of jellyfish after two months of complete inactivity?Otherwise, the run was pretty good, as I said, aerobically I'm pretty alright. The only other problem was that I ate way too hearty a lunch which, in concert with the fact that my metabolism is currently operating at a rate just a tad bit slower than a snail covered in molasses crawligh through quicksand, meant that I felt like I was on the verge of purging said lunch throughout the run. But like I said, aside from that I was pretty money. If only I could now get today's ride done. i'm so lazy. |
