The New Leaf
Tuesday, March 20, 2007

So, while my mind has almost made the transition over to the new leaf it appears as though the body hasn't. This week begins my manic, six-week half-iron melee that will surely lead to one of two things: 1) my demise or 2) a very painful finish to this year's first race at Lake Anna.

To start off the new training melee I did... nothing. I had class last night until 9:30, and this guy was just too hungry and tired to go out for my scheduled 20 minute easy run. But tonight I'm thinking that I'll try to make it for today's optional 20 minute run. The reason for this being, tonight's class, while somewhat entertaining, is also soporiphic to the point of narcolepsy. So maybe I'll perk myself up with what I'm sure will be a very painful and rust-laden reintroduction to the world of fitness.

Wish me luck!
