| Happy halloween. Ran 3:29:21 at Marine Corps. A qualifier for me. ~ 5 mins off my best, but 3rd best marathon time. Beautiful day, Ran "with" 3 friends. One wanted to qualify, but didn't make his time. We got to the start too late, and ended up at the back of the pack when the gun went off and had to fight to pass the slower runners all the way thru mile 6. New course on to Haines Pt was better. Great support. Ran steady, last 4 -5 just as fast as beginning. So that felt good. Usual marathon soreness now about over. |
