Having signed on to do some racing this year, I'm really focusing on dropping some weight right now. In October, I was coming in around 198 lbs. As of today, I'm 187 and looking to drop down to 175+/-. Fortunately, my wife is dieting, which makes food selection a lot easier. And,she supports the time involved in training. My racing goal is to be good and ready for the Southern California/Nevada Time Trial championships in May. So far, so good. In 3 races, I've already bettered my prior PR by 1:28. I'm pretty excited because the next race, I'll be riding my first TT specific bike. |
