The past week I would deem a success. My first full week after surgery of staying motivated to be physically active. I started out the week at 203.5 lbs and riding my stationary bike. I ended the week at 197.5 lbs. I built up the stationary ride to 1 hour. On Sunday I jogged 1.3 miles. The jog was very slow, but it felt like a great accomplishment. The only thing I forgot to do is stretch each day. I am paying for that mistake with tons of soreness. This week I plan to keep on a restricted calorie diet and drop another 2 lbs. I will alternate between jogging and stationary. I would like to work my way back to a 5k jog. If I feel good about my results and not scared about hurting myself, I would like to start back up with Coach Jay probably the week after next. Cheers |
