Interval Day

First day of the interval training - it was brutally hot - I noticed a few people saying how they almost did not come or sat in their car thinking they should go home.  I never thought that once - not one time.  I was glad I was there - I will adjust for the heat and slow down if I need to - but there was a nice breeze that kept us cooled at least a little bit.  I think we did very well.  I felt better doing the last three intervals than the first three.  It helps to have made a friend - someone to talk to - and share with.

I am looking forward to Saturday!!!

Starting again is so much harder than I thought it would be.

Two years ago I was walking 6 miles a day - I realize that did not happen overnight but it seems like this time is harder - from motivation to physical demand - searching my brain for why! But more so trying to just let it go and settle into a routine that will push me forward.

On track and doing well.

First Day of the NOBO Walk to 5K program.  I was a little nervous but it all went very well. 

Felt good doing the 30 minute walk - hard to believe just a year ago I was walking 6 miles a day.

Love my new sneakers from Fleet Feet - that was the best thing I could have done.

Looking forward to a great 12 weeks.
