The Gorilla Run - Done!!!

Felt great!  I paced Eileen the best I could to get the best time for her.  That really helped me too as that helped me be consistent and strong.  I really enjoyed the race!

I'm ready for my race.  12 days and counting.....I can do it!!!

Need to Journal!!!

Last week I have bumped up my training distances and was eating clean but boy am I exhausted!  With the suggestion of my friends, I thought it would be very valuable for me to return to journalling my food AND workouts more faithfully.  I know I have success with journally for weight loss, so why not journal my running again.  (sometimes we get more cocky and don't think we need to be accountable)

I'm excited.....but still tired!  Time to head to bed and get my rest that I need with my training!

Tomorrow, 6km on my books.

The Goofy Game Plan!

Well, I registered for the Walt Disney Goofy Challenge a couple of weeks ago, but haven't really sat down to do a training program yet. 

Training program is now complete!  I've got 24 weeks until the Goofy Challenge takes place.  After looking at the program, I'm not really afraid anymore.  I have several goals along the way to keep me preoccupied as this goal is one of the biggest that I have set for myself.

  • Registered For Race - CHECK!
  • Training Program Designed - CHECK!

Next thing on my list now is to raise the money that I have committed to Team In Training.  I'm not stressed about that part as I enjoy fundraising.
