Hey all! I need your help!

Ironman is offering eight slots to its coveted Triathlon World Championships in Kona in October to the most inspiring story. Their mantra for the contest is "Anything Is Possible". Well... I believe I have a story worth telling. In a freak accident I broke my back in 1993 and was told I may never walk again. After a spinal fusion, two six inch rods placed into my spine, a year in a back brace, and months of therapy... I not only walked again, but I went on to run a marathon (among many other races). But that's not all. Fast forward to 2011... I was training for my very first Ironman when I crashed during a cycling accident and broke my leg and arm. Again, surgery and rods inserted and months of therapy. Needless to say my Ironman dream was shattered. It was not until six months later that I had the strength (physically and mentally) to get back on the bike. And here we are today- nearly a year since the accident. Hence why I need your help. Please view my video at http://apps.facebook.com/konainspired?x=us_facebookapp_143_4 and vote for me.

You can help my Ironman dream come true after all.

Thanks! Susan
