Do not mirror the pack. I have spent the last two seasons resetting my running gait to avoid old injuries. Today was my first group run in ages, and I threw out my L gluteus pretty instantly. Two most likely factors -- 1. a late night in the city sitting on a bar stool that totally tweaked my gluteus; 2. took the already tweaked gluteus and threw it over the edge by mirroring the pack instead of following my own gait. Small and fast. Keep at it girl and try again next week.
The upside -- on the return route, I was alone on the outbound side of the trail -- got in my bird watching. Sweet! |
