ARRRGGHHHHH!!!!!! Sorry. Let me explain. This week the wind was in our faces on the way out. As a result the pace was a bit more sedate and everything seemed a bit more organised. took my turns as they came round and made it to the turnoff at Blair Drummond feeling okay (ish). This week the plan was to try and stay closer to the front of the group working on the idea that that way by the time we reached the top of the hill I would be at the back but still in touch. It was a good plan but alas everyone came past so fast that before i knew it I was off the back again... the question is how does Fraser make it look so easy?? I have to thank the guy that waited for me and tried to get me back on but it was a losing battle - I had totally maxed out AGAIN!! Next week I'm going to try and follow the advice of Mr Hunter and sit in for a bit after the turnoff at Blair Drummond.... Lets face it it can't get any worse - can it? |
