Our bodies have a tendancy to adapt - this is pretty much the simplest way to describe exercise; our bodies adapt to the consistent demand of a certain movement. That being said, is it safe to say that our bodies adapt to the consistant ACTIVITY as well? For example, a person who runs a lot, has been proven to adapt to that demand, whether it being an injury or a storage of calories according to the activity.
Our bodies adapt by storing fat tissue according to the consistency of our run. It is also proven that to see the best results, and to KEEP seeing results, we need to change up our routines. If your run, don't ONLY run, if you weight train, don't ONLY weight train, ect...change it up!
Try new and creative and intense and fun things every 6-8 weeks and you will always see adaptive results. Your trainers can help you with this as well, so ask them. :) Train Your Mind To Train Your Body!
