Today is the day that I officially start training. I am going to sit down with my calendar and SCHEDULE in times for training. Today I ran 40 minutes. I ran down Sierra Madre Blvd (to the pool) for 20 minutes and then turned around and came back. It was HARD!!! In the afternoon I went to the gym and did 3 sets of shoulders exercises followed by 40 minutes of continuous freestly swim. I picked up my bike today....YEAAAAY!!! I am going to practice clipping in and out of the pedals in the hallway later tonight. I hope to get efficient and comfortable enough this week so I can do the long ride on Sunday. |
