Biographical Information:
Dutch south African, born in Holland, grew up in clogs and a soccer ball, moved to Canada aged 10. When I first heard about the Ironman Triathlon I thought it was what the military did. Not far off though in all reality.
Started riding a Nishiki steel with rat trap and a all cap with runners and did my first tri in 1987 at the Vernon Silver Star race. |
