Biographical Information:
Me, after my first marathon in early 2003. I was ecstatic to have finished, especially given the conditions (note the dust FLYING in the background).
Now, in 2007, I am training for my 3rd Ironman, (Canada). I DNFd in 2005 because I arrived after the 5:30 cutoff. I vindicated myself in 2006 by finishing the bike portion hour earlier than the previous year, but ended up walking most of the marathon.
My goal this year is to finish faster than I did in 2006, so I can claim a PR. :-) |
